Useful Family History sites

Although little publicised, this museum holds a substantial archive of contemporary newspaper articles related to the fishing industry in Brighton, with approaching a hundred hits under 'Cheesman'. Unfortunately it is only accessible at the museum.

Brighton History Centre
Does what it says on the tin!

The Lambeth Palace Library, the record office for the history of the Church of England, have made available plans for Parish Churches. I would argue with their interpretaion of which George was responsible for which aspect of the building, but the site offers a fascinating insight.
